Hello and Happy Spooky Season, Friends! 🎃 I hope this newsletter finds you in festive spirits! Here are some updates from my world this month.
Last week, my boy band had a very fun show at The White Horse🤠 I’m now very passionate about two-stepping.
Been in the studio with Markie (Mark Scott—Maybe don’t call him that, I just came up with that rn). We’ve been working with our engineer, Austust Young, on some verrrrry exciting full-band stuff. Post-production is a lot of work and very intimidating, but they’re making it quite fun. I’ll keep you updated on when the tunes are ready for ears.
Upcoming Shows
These next couple of weeks are quite light due to ACL takeover of Austin proper. I’m a little offended because what does Chappell have that I don’t?? Full-produced albums?? VMA award?? Cool costumes and legitimate touring experience?? 🙄😒
In all seriousness, I hope you are able to go see some of your favorite artists. I consider us very lucky to be in a city that hosts such high-profile musicians; it makes me sad when people say they aren’t going “this year” because of the cost.
Don’t let every year be “this year.” Life is short and money is a tool to buy products and experiences that make us happy!! I myself will be spending my little gig break trying to scalp a ticket to see some of the greats. Wish me luck🍀
