And what a May came: the best month of 2026 thus far. ♊ Twenty-seven and proud 🎉 I started my birthday slurping Juiceland with Romeo, paddle boarding under blue skies and sunshine, grubbing a deli sandwich while watching Friends, slurping more Juiceland, and dancing at the gay clubs with some of my favorite people on earth. Good good day.

Music 🎸

I've been performing this month ... a LOTT. More than I have in a long time, which is both exciting and ironic. I get a day job, and suddenly my night job gets jealous of my time. The difference in this season is these gigs are public facing, with my band, and not cover gigs. I'm feeling a lot more fulfilled so we are rly happy to be booked and busy rn

New Residency: The Modern🍸

Big news!! I have a new residency with The Modern, kicking off Monday, June 8th. Moving forward, we'll be playing the third Thursday of every month. Come through, grab a drink, stay a while.

New Residency: Juiceland on Barton Springs 🍌

Yes, you read that right. TWO new residencies. This one is a little different. Catch me + the boys jamming and grooving with smoothie drinkers at Juiceland on Barton Springs. Next hang is July 12th. Swing by for fruity fun with fruity people (me + the boys) 🌈

I started eating fruits and vegetables this month. Before this month I only ate cheese and meat and bread. Couldn't tell you the last time I had produce. But with the recent influence of good ppl around me, I have put brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds, bananas, clementines, cherries, kiwi, watermelon, and avocados into my diet. My parents would be astounded. Big ty to Juiceland for making it easy to eat spinach by gaslighting myself into believing "no no, it's just fruit!" 🥤

Sophomore EP Update 🎛️

We are SO close to the finish line on these studio songs, you guys. I am, by nature, a meticulous person, and I am lucky beyond measure to work with collaborators patient enough to let me nudge stems 1/32 beats to the left, tune notes by a semitone, and pan individual guitar plucks from ear to ear. Obsessive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. It will all make sense when you hear the first single, The Wheel, dropping July 10th. Mark your calendars. Tell your friends. Tell your enemies.

Romeo Report 🐶

Romeo turns FIVE tomorrow. Five!! My little bean is all sprouted up 🎂

This is also notably the first month since January 2025 that I have not boarded a plane. Surprisingly, I'm not antsy! I got a little itchy the second week of May, but the birthday zoomies made me excited about being in Austin with local friends and family. The grass is greener where you water it... until next month, when I go to Minnesota 😈

Overall, I am so good. Creatively fulfilled, professionally challenged, intellectually stimulated, and a strong sense of belonging and community.
