Jessica Healey is an indie artist based in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in Fort Worth, she launched her professional music career in Austin in 2023.
 

Since then, Jess has quickly emerged as one of Austin's most versatile new voices. She performed an official SXSW 2024 showcase and plays iconic Austin venues including Mohawk, the 04 Center, Elephant Room, and Monks. She is a recurring featured artist with Sofar Sounds and Austin Music Love, and currently holds a Saturday residency at Jupiter Supper Club and a monthly residency at Batch ATX.
 

Drawing comparisons to Phoebe Bridgers, Fiona Apple, Madison Cunningham, and Corinne Bailey Rae, Jess writes with unflinching self-awareness, pairing intimate folk storytelling with jazz harmony and wrapping pop-forward melodies in soft rock textures. Her music is both emotionally honest and musically sophisticated.
 

In October 2025, she released her debut EP tryhard, a six-song collection produced in collaboration with Grant Eppley. Onstage, Jess is known for impeccable intonation, sharp wit, and a magnetic presence that invites audiences into both the humor and the heaviness of her work.
 

Compelling in both full-band settings and stripped-down guitar performances, Jess is a sought-after act for festivals and showcases. Beyond the stage, she serves as Development Manager for ATX Artists for Social Impact, supporting and mobilizing Austin's local music community.
