Guys. I’m honored to announce the beginnings of a new local performing arts nonprofit, ATX Artists for Social Impact! AND I’ve been selected as the very first Spotlight Artist of the Month🫣 I am truly ~ s t o k e d ~ to be part of their launch and to help kick off what I know is going to be a powerful movement in Austin’s arts community.

Why THIS nonprofit?

ATX Artists for Social Impact is a brand-new, grassroots performing arts nonprofit that believes art should go beyond entertainment—becoming a force that strengthens communities, uplifts vulnerable neighbors, and sparks meaningful dialogue. There are many other FABULOUS orgs in Austin dedicated to supporting artists, however, this group uplifts both the artists and the community. It creates avenues for performers to serve and turns community members into performers! 🤸🏽‍♂️

The founders are both total visionaries and the most adorable married couple. Caitlin and Paolo are passionate, energetic, intentional, and thorough leaders. After years of dreamscaping, they are finally launching this project into reality, and with already-scary momentum 🏋🏼‍♂️

But like what does it actually do??

The organization is rooted in four program pillars:

• Performance – Showcasing Austin’s diverse artistic voices.

• Education – Making lifelong learning and creative curiosity accessible to all ages.

• Service – Mobilizing artists to give back and strengthen community organizations.

• Artist Development – Equipping creatives with the support and opportunities to thrive.

They're already killing it with new programs like Dance for All, Jazz for Humanity, and ATX Artists Take Action💪🏽 Facilitating accessible dance classes for low-income families, curating showcases to give artists work in the slow summer season, and coming up on SUNDAY AUGUST 31ST, hosting a benefit to raise funds for Flood Relief!! MOMENTUM

Why im tickled pink to be a partner 🎀

I spend a lot of time thinking about myself. How can I not? My only source of income stream comes from promoting my image, talents/skills, brand, me, me, me, blah blah fucking blah. Sometimes it feels like my wires have gotten crossed between the art and the business, the internal and the external.

My partnership with this team feels like a coming home to all that is bigger and better than just me. The music, the people, the love of what we do and how we are connected. I'm a hippie!✌🏻

Looking Ahead 🔮

I’m thrilled to help launch ATX Artists for Social Impact as their **** first spotlighted artist **** 💁🏻‍♀️ and can’t wait to see where they go. This org already has incredible momentum, and I’m proud to stand alongside them from the start.
