Howdy folks! I hope this email finds you in good holiday spirits 🎁 I’ve been celebrating with friends and family and enjoying the cooler weather❄️ I hope you’ve been doing the same!

Christmas Shows??

A December highlight was certainly my Monks show singing hidden gems of the American Songbook. "A Christmas Remembered." Cheesy title, strong execution. I'm lucky to play with such incredible guys, Daniel Dufour, Andy Langham, Diego Rivera, and Ryan Hagler (not pictured). Blessed to be warmly welcomed by Collin Shook to the best jazz club in Austin. The goal for this set was to bring back forgotten Christmas songs. I'm so tired of the same 50 songs we hear every year. Maybe more like 25? Not that many. I dug through the archives of 1940s-60s top pop hits to find a full show of Christmas gems. Peep my youtube to take a listen to some of the tunes we pulled out and dusted off.

A new development in my musical career is the addition of daily Tik Tok lives. It’s difficult to wrap my mind around it: I can sit in my room and sing my songs to people from all over the USA. My stats show that my account has been viewed by more than 200k new people since I began 📈 Bonkers. And also mildly offensive?? like why don’t I have 200k more followers?? Lol it’s a slow burn but really a cool opportunity that I’m grateful to utilize. For any other musicians out there, I VERY strongly encourage you to look into it.

Upcoming Shows: This month is QuiTE busy which brings me both great joy and great stress lmao being self-employed is kind of exhausting. BUT let me tell you, it sure beats selling solar panels over zoom.

Romeo RecapRomeo is supposed to be on a diet to move from 102 lbs to 92 lbs. It was going well until that he ate a cinnamon bun and 5 cupcakes off of my counter while I was gone at a gig. Happy holidays!
