Jess Healey is an Austin-based indie artist who sets memorable melodies against complex harmony and writes with unflinching self-awareness to create songs that are personal yet expansive. Blending elements of pop, folk, soul, rock, and jazz, her work draws comparisons to Fiona Apple, Madison Cunningham, and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Since launching her career in 2023, she performed an official SXSW 2024 showcase and plays notable venues including Mohawk, Austin Garden, the 04 Center, Monks Jazz Club, and the Elephant Room. She's played with artists like Elias Haslinger, Kevin Lovejoy, Gerry Gibbs, and Joel Frahm. A recurring featured artist with Sofar Sounds, Austin Music Love, and Local Sets ATX, she currently holds monthly residencies at Batch ATX and Tiny Grocer and a Saturday residency at Jupiter Supper Club.

In October 2025, Jess released her debut EP "tryhard," a six-song collection that moves seamlessly between groovy jam tracks and sweeping piano ballads, balancing musical sophistication with emotional honesty. Jess is a 2026 winner of the Austin Live Music Grant and will be releasing her sophomore EP in the fall of 2026.
