Jess Healey is an Austin-based indie artist who sets memorable melodies against complex harmony and writes with unflinching self-awareness to create songs that are personal yet expansive. Blending elements of pop, folk, soul, rock, and jazz, her work draws comparisons to Madison Cunningham, Joni Mitchell, and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Since launching her career in 2023, she has performed an official SXSW 2024 showcase and played notable venues including Mohawk, Austin Garden, the 04 Center, Monks Jazz Club, and the Elephant Room. She's played with artists like Elias Haslinger, Kevin Lovejoy, Gerry Gibbs, and Joel Frahm. She's a recurring featured artist with Sofar Sounds, Austin Music Love, and Local Sets ATX, and currently holds residencies at The Modern, Batch ATX, Juiceland, and Jupiter Supper Club.

In October 2025, Jess released her debut EP "tryhard," a six-song collection that moves seamlessly between groovy jam tracks and sweeping piano ballads, balancing musical sophistication with emotional honesty. She's a 2026 winner of the Austin Live Music Grant, and her sophomore EP "Unrest" will be released in September 2026.
